International Conference Of
Alternatives to Animal Experimentation

The Portuguese Society for Humane Education (SPEdH) is proud to present the II International Conference of Alternatives to Animal Experimentation, to be held in Auditorium 2 at the ForumPicoas building, in Lisbon on the 8th and 9th of May 2015.

The aim of this Conference is to promote the debate and sharing of information regarding the 3Rs policies on animal use, highlighting the replacement of animal models for suitable and ethical alternatives, such as in vitro and in silico models, as well as alternative experimental designs.

The program will include keynotes sessions, state of the art lectures, and a poster session.

We look forward to seeing you in Lisbon and will work hard to offer you an outstanding scientific programme alongside a welcoming atmosphere.

The New England Anti Vivisection Society is offering 2 grants   for the II International Conference of Alternatives to Animal
Experimentation to Doctoral or Post-Doctoral Students pursuing a   career in the field of Alternatives to Animal Experimentation.
The grant will cover the conference fee as well as travelling and   accomodation expenses up to 500 dollars.
